This app also includes a check in feature that appears as a pre-evaluation and post-evaluation. They ask the user to rate themselves on a sliding scale for a variety of categories including stormy versus calm, energized versus tired, curious versus disinterested, tuned in versus tuned out, negative versus positive, and connected versus disconnected. After rating themselves, users can choose to have background music or no music, and then they can start the meditation. Once the meditation is finished, the user fills out the same evaluation.
The app also has a reminder setting like the majority of other Mindfulness apps offered. As you can see in the photos above, the reminder setting for this app is relatively simple as you choose a title, a date, and a time, and the app will notify you at that chosen time.
I really enjoy the variety of this app, and I love that it has Mindfulness Meditations for younger kids. I really hope to use them in the coming months with some of my kids at work. On the other hand, I wish this app had a way to track the differences in your evaluation scores. I think it would be really awesome to be able to see these scores compared over times or perhaps in conjunction with a notes feature where a user could log what's going on in their day. For example, I'd be interested to see the different effects depending on mood-- whether a user be stressed out, or angry, or already happy.
